These Terms govern the use of Rankwar (rankwar.pro). By creating an account or making a payment you accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy.
1. What Rankwar is
Rankwar is a game of public rankings by professional category. Each participant's position is determined exclusively by the money they paid in that ranking. A Rankwar ranking does not measure skill, experience, professional quality or any merit, and is not a recommendation or endorsement.
2. Account
- You sign up with your LinkedIn account. We take your name, photo and (if LinkedIn shares it) your email.
- The LinkedIn URL and headline you enter are self-declared. Rankwar does not verify identities and profiles are not shown as verified.
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts.
- You may only register companies you are authorized to represent.
3. Bids and payments
- Prices are in US dollars (USD). The current rules are in Pricing and rules.
- Every bid is an individual payment made through a Dodo Payments checkout, our Merchant of Record. Taxes may apply depending on your country.
- Your score in a ranking is the accumulated total you paid in that ranking. Amounts paid cannot be transferred between rankings or participants.
- There is no balance, wallet or credits on the platform.
- The position projected when you pay is informational: if another participant bids before your payment is confirmed, you are placed wherever your total gets you. Your payment is never lost.
- All payments are final and non-refundable, as set out in the Refund Policy.
4. Content and conduct
You may not use names, photos, headlines or URLs that impersonate another person or company, are offensive or misleading, or infringe third-party rights. We may edit or hide content and suspend accounts that breach these Terms. If an account is suspended for a breach, payments made are not refunded.
5. Categories
Users can create categories. We may rename, merge or hide duplicate or inappropriate categories; if categories are merged, each participant's total paid is preserved.
6. Rule changes
We may adjust game rules (for example, entry prices or the minimum payment) going forward. Changes do not affect totals already paid.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 3 months.
8. Languages
These Terms are available in Spanish and English. In case of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Spanish version prevails.
