Privacy Policy

What data we collect

• From LinkedIn (Sign In with LinkedIn, scopes openid profile email): account identifier, name, profile photo, and email if LinkedIn shares it. We do not access your connections or post on your behalf. We do not scrape profiles.
• What you enter: your LinkedIn profile URL, country, headline, and details of companies you register.
• Payments: amount, date, status and transaction identifier. Your card details are processed by Dodo Payments; we never see or store them.
• Technical: session cookies needed to keep you signed in, a cookie that remembers your language, and server logs (IP, date) for security and abuse prevention. We count visits without cookies: we only keep an anonymous identifier that changes every day and cannot identify you.

What is public

Rankwar is a public rankings site. Your name, photo, headline, country, LinkedIn URL, the categories you compete in, your position and your total paid in each are visible to anyone. Your email is not public.

How we use the data

• To operate your account and the rankings.
• To process payments and meet accounting and tax obligations.
• To send you notices about your activity (for example, if someone overtakes you), if we enable them in the future.
• To prevent fraud and abuse.

Who we share it with

• Dodo Payments (payment processing, as Merchant of Record).
• Infrastructure providers (hosting, backup storage, email delivery, and an AI provider that classifies the names of new categories), only as needed.
• Authorities, when required by law.

We do not sell your data.

Retention

We keep account data while the account is active. Payment records are kept for as long as legal obligations require, even if you close your account.

Your rights

You can request access, correction or deletion of your data by emailing soporte@rankwar.pro. When the account is deleted, your profile stops being shown in rankings; payments made are not refunded.
